Installation

To get started with Boring Notch, ensure your system meets the requirements: macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and an Apple Silicon or Intel Mac.

You have two primary installation options:

Option 1: Download and Install Manually

  1. Download the latest .dmg file from the official GitHub releases page: Download Boring Notch
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Boring Notch to your /Applications folder.
  3. Important: Since Boring Notch is from an unidentified developer, you'll need to bypass macOS security.
